Welcome to our Animal House which is registered with the Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA) (Reg No: 2009/PO/RE/S/18CPCSEA), Ministry of Environment and Forests, Govt. of India and has an established Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) that advises the students, teachers/researchers on facilities, policies and practices concerning the care and use of animals. We have separate mice and rat colony chambers, quarantine room, feed section, bedding material room, working platforms for short procedures, documentation room, cage and bottle storage section, cup-boards for storage of essential drugs. Washing area is separately present to avoid contamination. All the biological waste from animal house is disposed off through proper process
